Blue Jays Curb Angels, 10-6
The California Angels got a sterling performance from left fielder Alain Delhaye, but the Toronto Blue Jays still prevailed, 10-6. Delhaye went 3 for 3 with 2 home runs. Toronto starter Spencer Jones was credited with the win after throwing 86 pitches over 5 innings. His record now stands at 16-5. Zach Ault got the save, the 20th for him this season.

In the bottom of the fifth, Toronto center fielder Donny Burnside had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Burnside stroked a 2-run single to left. It made the score 6-4, Toronto. For the game, he was 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Burnside said (again).

With the victory, the Blue Jays upped their record to 98-44.
