Phillies Drop Braves, 3-2
|
Philadelphia Phillies starter Phuck II pitched a strong game against the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field, leading the Phillies to victory, 3-2. Philadelphia has a record of 54-97, placing them last in the National League East Division.
Philadelphia took a 2-1 lead on Josh Hensley's 22nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Hensley hit in the top of the seventh, left Atlanta pitcher Scott Bernstein visibly frustrated.
"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Phillies," said Phuck II.
