Boston catcher Greg Shaw played a vital role in his team's 8-7 triumph over Baltimore. He belted 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times for Boston. Shaw had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a 1-2 curveball from Jose Lara, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Red Sox a 8-7 lead. It was the 14th home run of the year for Shaw.
