Felix Whitewashes Grizzlies
|
In a remarkable performance, Charlotte Knights starter Isaias Felix beat the Fresno Grizzlies 4-0 in an impressive 2-hit shutout.
"My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this."
The Knights hurler finished with 8 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball.
"It was a rough one for my guys," Fresno manager Darryl Kennedy said following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
On his stats sheet this season Felix shows a 9-8 record, 22 starts, 139 innings, 108 strikeouts and a 3.37 ERA.
