Reds Down Brewers, 12-10
The Cincinnati-Milwaukee matchup turned into a slugfest.

Tony Casas was the difference-maker for the Cincinnati Reds in what turned into a shootout with the Milwaukee Brewers. Casas went 3-for-5 in the 12-10 Reds win. Cincinnati reliever Ryan Terlizzi picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Timóteo Metzener was tagged with the loss.

Cincinnati used the clutch hitting of Chris Grunwald to snag the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Reds ahead, 12-10. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Casas. "I like it."

The Brewers fall to 4-9 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2049 season.
