Division Championship Goes the Distance, Pawtucket Prevails Thursday, October 14th , 2049 In an exciting Division Championship that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is International League fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Pawtucket Red Sox, who edged the Buffalo Bisons 4-3 to advance to the Conference Championship. Pawtucket won the final game by a 7-5 count to wrap up the series. Joe Evrard earned series MVP honors, by hitting .435 with a .458 on-base percentage.
