Thomas Humbles Toledo, 9-0 Wednesday, September 2nd , 2048 Kyle Thomas kept the Toledo Mud Hens hitters off balance all game long as the Durham Bulls pitcher blanked the Mud Hens, 9-0. Thomas gave up 2 hits, struck out 6 and walked 1. In the postgame press conference, the right-hander was reluctant to talk about the outing at length. "It was a nice win in a long season," he said. "I don't want to dwell too much on it." For the season Thomas has logged 3 wins and 3 losses and struck out 50 batters in 57.2 innings while compiling a 3.12 ERA. |
