Kaneshiro Sizzles -- Smokes Isotopes for 5 Hits Saturday, June 26th , 2049 It was a parade of hits for Takanibu Kaneshiro of the Louisville Bats at Louisville Slugger Field today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Kaneshiro finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Bats to a 9-0 victory. "Kaneshiro was really good and we were really bad," groaned Isotopes manager Brent McMinn. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Takanibu Kaneshiro singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
