Birmingham Loses Miller for Season Monday, July 19th , 2049 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Birmingham's Amari Miller to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 07/18/2049 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Miller said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Miller has been out of action since he suffered a torn rotator cuff. Miller's record this year is 4-and-3 with 15 saves and a 2.56 ERA. He has given up 24 hits in 38.2 innings with 51 strikeouts. |
