Early Season End for Greaves Saturday, August 14th , 2049 Obviously disappointed, Dustin Greaves confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Reading reliever offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 26-year-old Greaves suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow on 08/11/2049 and has been out of action since. So far this season, in 36 relief appearances Greaves has compiled an ERA of 2.86. He has pitched 44 innings, struck out 36, walked 14 and registered 2 saves. |
