Curve Pitching Ravaged by Hiemer Saturday, August 21st , 2049 It was a parade of hits for Ryan Hiemer of the Harrisburg Senators at FNB Field today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Hiemer finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Senators to a 8-7 victory. "Hiemer was really good and we were really bad," groaned Curve manager Mason Kukowski. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Ryan Hiemer flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and singled in the 11th. This year Hiemer is batting .292 with 66 hits, 4 home runs, 35 RBIs, 36 walks, .387 OBP and has scored 30 runs. |
