Rowdy Players Suspended by League Tuesday, September 14th , 2049 Carlos Lopez of Frisco and Mike Brubaker of Bowie were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Lopez will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Brubaker was given 9 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. So far this season Lopez has gotten 63 hits in 234 at-bats for a .269 batting average with 6 home runs. His stats include 30 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has played in 72 games. This season Mike Brubaker has made 21 relief appearances, saving 1. His record is 2-0 with 55 strikeouts in 49.2 innings and a 1.63 ERA. |
