The Altoona left-hander allowed 2 hits in recording the shutout. "Ben was good today but I don't want to focus too much on a single game," Altoona manager Mason Kukowski said later. "If you're capable of playing at this level, you're capable of having a good game. The real question is if you can learn from that game and repeat it." This season Buerck has fanned 138 in 156.2 innings and collected a 9-9 record with a 3.33 ERA. |
