Baysox Cruise to Division Championship with Sweep Friday, October 1st , 2049 After their 2-1 win today at Prince George's Stadium over the Montgomery Biscuits, the Bowie Baysox will advance to the Division Championship. Bowie won the series by a 2-0 margin. Leading the way for the Baysox was second baseman Kevin Popowicz, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus." The Division Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
