Lindsay Tosses No-No Against Shorebirds Wednesday, July 14th , 2049 Bowling Green is abuzz in the wake of a masterful no-hitter by Dave Lindsay. The 26-year-old hurler was dominating against the Delmarva Shorebirds, leading the Hot Rods to a 1-0 win at Bowling Green Ballpark today. "I could tell early on that it was going to be a long day for us," Delmarva manager Ryan Ramsey said afterward. "He made us look real bad. He was that good. And still going strong at the end of the game." Lindsay had 8 strikeouts and gave up 3 walks en route to the no-hitter. "Yeah, this was a special day for me," Lindsay said. "I had my good stuff and good movement. Good location, too. Even when I made a mistake, I got away with it today." This season Lindsay has gone 5-7 with an ERA of 2.88, posting 86 strikeouts in 106.1 innings. |
