LaMotte Top AL Starter in August Wednesday, September 1st , 2049 John LaMotte of Greenville had an excellent August with a 4-0 record and was selected the Pitcher of the Month in the American League. He finished the month with a 2.72 ERA while piling up 28 strikeouts in 43 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .226 batting average. So far this year LaMotte has compiled a 12-6 record with a 2.73 ERA. |
