Playoffs? No Chance for Greensboro Monday, September 6th , 2049 Many Greensboro Grasshoppers fans have already turned their attention to next season, and with good reason. Even with a good chunk of the schedule still left to play, the club was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Greensboro last appeared in the postseason in 2047. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 25 times in their 34 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Grasshoppers have made the playoffs 2 times. |
