Charleston Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Wednesday, September 8th , 2049 It has been a woeful season for the Charleston RiverDogs and now they have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. "You always need some things to break your way to get into the playoffs," said manager Austin Hedges. "And nothing broke our way this year." The RiverDogs have made the playoffs 16 times in their 34 years as a Midwest League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2044. In the last 10 seasons, the RiverDogs have missed the playoffs 5 times. |
