Great Day for Luttman -- 5 Hits Tuesday, September 21st , 2049 The Fort Wayne TinCaps swept past the South Bend Cubs 31-4 today at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium, paced by right fielder Dean Luttman. The 23-year-old Luttman got 5 hits in 7 at-bats, helping to down the Cubs. Dean Luttman singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, walked in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Mike Hill in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. This season Luttman is hitting .307 with 134 hits, 8 home runs, 67 RBIs, scored 68 runs and played in 121 games. |
