Crawdads Advance to Conference Championship Tuesday, October 19th , 2049 The Hickory Crawdads are moving on to the Conference Championship after eliminating the Delmarva Shorebirds in the Division Championship. Hickory won the final game by a 8-7 count at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium and the series 4-2. Dan Dill was key to the Crawdads win, as he was named series MVP, thanks in large part due to his 0.00 ERA over 17 innings. He also added 12 strikeouts with a 1-0 record. "Onwards and upwards," the MVP said. "I'm just focusing on my next time on the mound now." The Conference Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Championship finishes. |
