Harris Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Friday, August 13th , 2049 Mahoning Valley Scrappers catcher Jason Harris went 5-for-5 today and paced Mahoning Valley to a 26-9 victory over the Minnesota (NYP) Twins at Eastwood Field. "Well, that was fun," Harris said following the game. Jason Harris singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Yeijiro Kimura in the 8th. In his stats this season, Harris has posted a batting average of .301 with 43 hits in 143 at-bats, 6 home runs and 25 RBIs. He has also scored 23 runs, walked 17 times and compiled a .374 OBP. |
