Season-Ending Injury for Torres Wednesday, August 25th , 2049 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Williamsport's Chad Torres to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 08/22/2049 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Torres said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Torres has been out of action since he suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Currently Torres has 58 relief appearances, saving 0. His record is 3-5 with 78 strikeouts in 97.2 innings and a 5.34 ERA. |
