Auburn Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Thursday, August 26th , 2049 The baseball world has known for a long time that the Auburn Doubledays were not destined for the playoffs this year. But now it is official, as the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Before this season, the Doubledays last missed the playoffs in 2047. In the 34 years they have been a New York-Penn League franchise, they have made the playoffs 4 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Doubledays have only made the playoffs once. |
