Canadians Not Competitive in 6-0 Loss to Spokane
Monday, October 25th , 2049
Today was Victor Walshe's turn in the rotation for the Spokane Indians and he made the most of it, shutting out the Vancouver Canadians on 4 hits.
The 36-year-old right-hander led the Indians to an easy 6-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 8 strikeouts.
"I hope we miss him next time," Vancouver manager Bobby Keithley said. "Walshe certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
His record this year is 17-7 in 26 starts and Walshe has a 2.95 ERA.
