Lebron Goes on Rampage Against Voyagers Sunday, October 3rd , 2049 It was a parade of hits for Jorge Lebron of the Detroit (APP) Tigers at Centene Stadium today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Lebron finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Tigers to a 9-4 victory. "Lebron was really good and we were really bad," groaned Voyagers manager Bay Buckley. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Jorge Lebron hit a solo-shot off Juan Reyes in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Juan Reyes in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 8th. This season Lebron is batting .263 with 64 hits, 21 home runs, 43 RBIs, 37 walks, .367 OBP and has scored 49 runs. He has played in 65 games. |
