Garza Jacks 3 into the Stands
Thursday, October 14th , 2049
Pedro Garza went on an explosive hitting spree against the Philadelphia (APP) Phillies at Lindquist Field today, launching a trio of blasts to lead the Ogden Raptors to the 33-2 win.
The left fielder finished 4-for-5 with 3 runs scored and 7 runs batted in.
"It was just one of those days," Garza said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball."
Philadelphia (APP) skipper Marc Wik said Garza was "locked-in."
"We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him."
Pedro Garza hit a solo-shot off Robert Mccabe in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Robert Mccabe in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Takuzo Sato in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 7th.
Garza is currently batting .345 with 93 home runs and 228 RBIs.
