Cleveland (APP) Takes Wildcards Series Sunday, October 31st , 2049 It's a sweet sweep for the Cleveland (APP) Indians and they have won the Wildcards Series. The Orem Owlz were not able to keep pace with the Indians and dropped the series in short order, losing 4-3 in the deciding game. "This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Orem manager Dan Palazzo. It's now on to the Division Series for Cleveland (APP) after their 4-0 series win. Leading the way for the winners was third baseman Makoto Narita, who was named MVP. For the series, Narita hit .429 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Division Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcards Series finishes. |
