AL's Top Hitter Selected Monday, November 1st , 2049 Russ Cornett has a lot going for him. The Great Falls third baseman just broke into the majors this year and now the American League has just picked him as its top hitter for October. In 18 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .419 with 13 home runs, 25 RBIs and 26 runs scored. A look at his current stats shows Cornett with a .341 average, 53 home runs, 135 RBIs and 165 runs scored. He has played in 137 games. |
