Conference Series Goes the Distance, Johnson City Prevails Saturday, November 20th , 2049 After their 9-8 win today over the San Diego (APP) Padres, the Johnson City Cardinals will advance to the World Series. Despite coming out on the losing side, the series MVP award went to San Diego (APP) catcher Brian Klinkner. Klinkner told a reporter from the San Diego (APP) Bulletin that he was disappointed in the loss, and hopes to be back next year competing for the World Series Johnson City won the series 4-3. The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Conference Series finishes. |
