Fry Pounds 3 HR Friday, November 26th , 2049 Fans are still buzzing after Texas (APP) whipped the Johnson City Cardinals by the score of 23-2 today at Howard Johnson Field. Evan Fry smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the shortstop bashed out 3 hits in 6 at-bats, had 7 RBIs and scored 4 times. At the postgame press conference, Fry said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Fry said. "Three is just... wow." Evan Fry flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Heriberto Flores in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, hit a three-run home run off Heriberto Flores in the 8th, walked in the 9th and hit a two-run home run off Heriberto Flores in the 9th. Thus far this season Fry is hitting .296 with 29 home runs, 94 RBIs and 94 runs scored. He has 125 hits in 422 at-bats and has played in 111 games. |
