He may only be 18, but Bill Dyck of the Ogden Raptors has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the National League.

The reliever was today named the NL Reliever of the Year winner for 2049.

He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 9 saves in 64 relief appearances and 132 strikeouts in 95 innings. He had a record of 4-1 to go with his 1.33 ERA.

He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. David Lopez of the Johnson City Cardinals finished second in voting, while Mike Barnhill of the Ogden Raptors finished third.
