Gar Gets 5 Hits Friday, December 4th , 2048 Miami (WIN) Marlins left fielder Mike Gar really lit up the New York (WIN) Yankees with a 5-hit barrage today at George M. Steinbrenner Field -- a performance that sparked the Marlins to a 12-2 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Mike Gar walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jon Moore in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. |
