Oakland (WIN) Takes Round 1 Thursday, January 21st , 2049 It was a sweet sweep for the Oakland (WIN) Athletics as they eased past the Milwaukee (WIN) Brewers to advance to the Divisional Series. Oakland (WIN) won the final game by a 6-5 count and the series 2-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Tim Cordle, who was named series MVP. For the series, Cordle hit .545 with a .545 on-base percentage.
