Indians Prevail, as Divisional Series Goes to the Wire Thursday, January 28th , 2049 In an exciting Divisional Series that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is Winter League Baseball fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Cleveland (WIN) Indians, who edged the Detroit (WIN) Tigers 3-2 to advance to the League Championship. Cleveland (WIN) won the final game by a 3-1 count to wrap up the series. Esteban Cordova earned series MVP honors, by hitting .353 with a .450 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs. The League Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes. |
