Red Sox on to World Series Friday, February 5th , 2049 The Boston (WIN) Red Sox are moving on to the World Series after eliminating the San Diego (WIN) Padres in the League Championship. Boston (WIN) won the final game by a 4-1 count at JetBlue Park and the series 4-1. Roberto Morales was key to the Red Sox win, as he was named series MVP, thanks in large part due to his 1.42 ERA over 6.1 innings. He also added 5 strikeouts with a 0-0 record. "Onwards and upwards," the MVP said. "I'm just focusing on my next time on the mound now." The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the League Championship finishes. |
