Minnesota's Derks Sidelined for Season Saturday, September 18th , 2049 The season is finished for Peer Derks of the Minnesota Twins. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Twins right fielder suffered chronic back soreness while throwing the ball in a recent game against the Boston Red Sox. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 weeks to heal.
