No Late-Season Magic Coming: Miami Out of Playoffs Sunday, October 3rd , 2049 Fans of the Miami Marlins will no doubt look back at a handful of games and wonder what could have been, if only a few things had gone differently. For now, the focus turns to next season, as the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Miami last appeared in the postseason in 2041. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 45 times in their 57 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Marlins have made the playoffs 4 times. Miami last won the World Series in 2024. |
