Davis 5-for-5 Against University of Toronto Monday, November 8th , 2049 D.J. Davis had an answer for everything the University of Toronto Marlies threw at him today at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The Vanderbilt University second baseman went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Commodores on top, 12-1. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Davis said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." D.J. Davis doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 7th. This season Davis is batting .264 with 58 hits, 2 home runs, 15 RBIs, 28 walks, .353 OBP and has scored 36 runs. He has played in 64 games. |
