5-Hit Game for LeSage
Sunday, November 14th , 2049
After a 5-hit effort to lead Clemson University's 4-1 victory over the University of Michigan Wolverines, second baseman Josh LeSage told BNN beat writers it had been "a special day."

"It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "Three or four is better, but five or more is out of sight. And to do that at the Evolution-level is really something special."

The 20-year-old player earned his accolades today at Ray Fisher Stadium with a spectacular 5-for-5 game against the Wolverines.

"His swing is getting there," said Tigers skipper Gerard Hall, who spoke glowingly of LeSage after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Josh did that to perfection today."

Josh LeSage hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Leon DeSanctis in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This year LeSage is batting .325 with 12 home runs. He has scored 47 runs and driven in 55.
