3 Bombs for Carlos Flores Friday, December 3rd , 2049 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Eck Stadium buzzing, Wichita State University Shockers right fielder Carlos Flores blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 7-2 win over the Clemson University Tigers. "Everything was clicking," Flores told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Flores shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Shockers manager Joe McDermott said. "Carlos played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
