Kleinjan Goes on Rampage Against Gamecocks Wednesday, December 8th , 2049 Donny Kleinjan did all he could with his bat, but it just wasn't enough for the Stanford University Cardinal to pull out a victory. The 19-year-old first baseman rapped out 5 hits in the game, but the Cardinal could not overcome the University of South Carolina Gamecocks. Stanford University lost the game 9-6 today at Carolina Stadium. Donny Kleinjan hit a solo-shot off Chris Sisko in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Danny Ramos in the 9th. In 92 games this season Kleinjan has batted at a .314 pace with 110 hits and 16 home runs. |
