Season Over for Swanson Tuesday, December 14th , 2049 Obviously disappointed, Jeff Swanson confirmed today that his season is officially over. The University of South Carolina catcher offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 19-year-old Swanson suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament on 12/11/2049 and has been out of action since. In his season totals, Swanson has 2 home runs, .241 BA, .319 OBP, 11 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has played in 24 games. |
