Injury Sidelines Whitehead for Season Thursday, December 16th , 2049 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Wichita State University's Byron Whitehead to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 12/13/2049 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Whitehead said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Whitehead has been out of action since he suffered a broken bone in the elbow. Currently Whitehead is batting .282 with 99 hits and 14 home runs. He has knocked in 39 runs and scored 61 times. |
