Lew Socks It to Invaders, Cracks 5 Hits Wednesday, September 8th , 2049 Yu-hsui Lew really sizzled at the plate in today's 11-1 win over Invaders. The Calgary third baseman blistered Roswell for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Lew was too tough to get out today," the Invaders skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Yu-hsui Lew doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, tripled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 9th. This year Lew is hitting .231, produced 17 RBIs and 2 home runs, scored 52 times and gotten on base at a .303 rate. |
