Chan Goes Deep 3 Times Monday, September 13th , 2049 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Edward Chan discovered that today at Joplin Baseball Complex, as he smashed three home runs during the 5-3 Houston Colt .45's win over the Joplin Blasters. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Houston left fielder said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Chan finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 3 RBIs. Edward Chan struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Sean Walters in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Robert Carlos in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Robert Carlos in the 9th. Presently Chan is hitting .214 with 19 home runs and 36 RBIs. He has played in 76 games and scored 26 times. |
