Joplin Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 30th , 2049 There are many adjectives that can be used to describe the Joplin Blasters this season. Few of them are positive. And as of today, the Blasters can add another descriptor -- officially eliminated from the playoffs. Joplin last appeared in the postseason in 2047. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 19 times in their 28 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Blasters have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
