Oetker and Burr Suspended for Free-for-All Saturday, October 2nd , 2049 Terry Oetker of the Winnipeg Goldeyes and Chris Burr of the Columbus Reds received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 5 and 7 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Winnipeg International Baseball & Gold Complex. This season Oetker is hitting .329 with 140 hits, 31 home runs, 110 RBIs, scored 99 runs and played in 118 games. This year Burr has compiled a 6-5 mark with a 2.45 ERA in 22 starts. |
