Cubs-Pirates Fight Nets 4-Game Suspensions Sunday, October 3rd , 2049 There was a mass free-for-all yesterday at Paris Baseball Complex. Both dugouts emptied when Paris's Don Crockett and Chester's Dave Pearce scuffled with one another after some heated words. In an official statement today, the league commissioner suspended both parties for 4 games. Currently Crockett has 7 home runs and a .219 batting average. So far this year Pearce has no saves in 30 relief appearances with a 1-2 record and 3.98 ERA. |
