Thompson Electric in 7-0 Niagara Falls Win Saturday, October 9th , 2049 The Niagara Falls Phantoms rolled to an easy 7-0 win over the York Revolution at Revolution Field today. Leading the way to victory was starter Brendan Thompson, who shackled the York Revolution and held them scoreless on a 5-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Thompson said in his postgame press conference. Thompson has made 27 starts so far this year and put up a 15-5 won-lost record with a 2.93 ERA. In 193.2 innings he has allowed 163 hits, walked 49 and struck out 196. |
