Hofmann Week's Best Player Monday, October 11th , 2049 Amarillo ThunderHeads first baseman Thie Hofmann walked away with the Western League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The ThunderHeads fans are really behind me right now," said the 17-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Hofmann batted .417 (10-for-24) with 6 home runs and 12 RBIs this week on his way to the award. This year Hofmann has hit at a .228 clip with 108 RBIs, 48 home runs and 69 runs scored. |
